1. Service Description

VeilShare provides end-to-end encrypted file sharing:

  • Files are encrypted in your browser
  • Encrypted file blob sent to server
  • Only people with decryption key (stored in link) can access file
  • The file becomes immediately inaccessible when the download limit is reached or the file expires
  • The file is deleted from our storage bucket within an hour of expiry or when the download limit is reached

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us.

3. Decryption Key Responsibility

The decryption key is generated in your browser and embedded in the shareable URL fragment (the part after #). This key never reaches our servers. If the shareable link is lost, and therefore the decryption key, we will not be able to recover your file.

4. Prohibited Content

VeilShare is meant for a quick way to share files without an account. Users may not upload, share, or distribute malware, phishing content, unlawful material, copyrighted material (without the owner's permission), or content that violates applicable law.


If you believe content shared through VeilShare violates these terms or applicable law, please report it to [email protected].


Because files are encrypted, we cannot review uploaded content. However, we may remove access to files in response to abuse reports, security concerns, or legal requests.

5. No Warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

  • We do not guarantee that the service will work 24/7
  • We do not guarantee that the service is error-free
  • We do not guarantee that files will not be lost

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, including loss of data, business interruption, or unauthorized access.

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Because we do not collect email addresses, it is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
